3 easy ways to connect with yourself and others for more joyful life
There was a time in my life when I felt that whatever I did did not move me in the direction I wanted to go. I have tried hard, changed the scenarios but I still felt stuck, not moving to another level and at the end of the day felt miserable.
We have a tendency to give up too quickly too soon. Why? Because it is less painful and it costs us less energy than thinking about new creative solutions. As Marisa Peer said, “Our brain likes what’s familiar” and she is so right; even if it was a good or bad habbit, often we would do what is easier for us.
So have you ever felt stuck, overthinking every little step or just doing things that felt effortless in your life? These days we have too many different options which makes it harder to choose, right?
Today I would like to share with you 3 simple techniques you can start using right now that will help you to feel stronger and prepare you for the next step to your full potential.
- Enjoy your free time fully, even when doing nothing. Be present because time in our life is limited and we need to rest in order to process our thoughts and to come up with new ideas and solutions.
- Use compliments, a lot. Praise yourself and give compliments to others. Build the relationships, face to face and online, be bold enough to show others who you truly are as a human being and what you feel. I think we have forgotten the power of kind words and how they can actually make our days brighter. And especially those specific, unexpected and unusual compliments can do a real magic!
- Instead of just doing something because you have to, go to another level, stop for a few seconds and ask yourself: If I do not do it, what would happen? And in the answer you will find a stronger reason for doing this task and you will probably do it with more intention and energy.
